Hello. I am alive. :) There is finally a wireless connection at this hotel. ('ve been moving about inchina). And cable! Anyw i am going t keep this short. First day was 0ish. Now it's better. Prolly 10dc. And i dreamt of am on the coach. Ha ha ha. Hogay. It's ping an ye over at shangh so. Merry xmas everyone~ (eh i eat a lot now i think i gained back about 3 lg which i think i took 3 weeks t lose:( )

HELLO I have something to say: Alyssa you should go to Cameron Highlands because it is so windy there.

So like, I keep eating and I keep eating and whoa I hope I don't gain weight and okay I was on Cameron Highlands for about three days and I loved it because it was so cold and so windy, and one afternoon I wore a t-shirt and FBTs out and walked to a market near the hotel and you'd think I was wearing Lady GaGa's bird's-nest thing by the way people were incredulously staring I mean dude I like the cold stop staring at me already tsk I should be the one staring at you, you idiots who wear puffy coats like you're in Alaska or something. And then I went running around the hotel grounds every morning at 7AM and it was so awesome the cold air hits your lungs like a blast of ice and it feels like the wind that's coming smack into your face freezes some part of your facial muscles off but it was good. The only other thing is that people stared. AGAIN. They were all sitting in their balconies wrapped up like sushi rolls and pointing and whispering when I ran past don't think I am blind or insane, morons. But I got my favourite pair of jeans muddy :( And I was basically peer-pressured into taking photos with my sister/cousin/both so DO NOT LAUGH WHEN THEY TAG ME ON FACEBOOK. And I have a lot more to say but I forgot so nyeh, I can't wait for training camp we are all going to die I predict my body will do something weird to make it worse my body hates me.

Oh man,
these 2 days had been so fun for me, even though I was down with a cold and my throat is still sore.
On saturday, we made christmas cards and spent SIX HOURS baking mochi for our church friends.
It turned out that the mochi was pretty good and we finished using up all the sugar and the green food colouring. HAHA :D
But so glad, that almost everyone said that the mochi tasted GOOD!!
Just that we need to improve on our chocolate mochi, because the chocolate kept spilling out of the mochi and
it was quite unsightly. :/

On sunday, we had a really FUN :D Singspiration
We were like sunday school kids singing ' Give me oil in my lamp' heh :)
After YF, we ate at sumo house with JCC people! (caleb, josiah, benedict, pei qi, clifford and jason)
So glad that we could make friends with them through Cross-I Camp. The sushi rice was good but after eating half bowl I got pretty sick of it.
The boys' table gave us oranges and we washed it with soy sauce and then green tea and we passed it back.
The unbelievable thing is that they ate it. !!?!?!
After that we wanted to watch Planet 51 but the only timing they had at JP was at 8pm. too late for us.
So we went down to west mall and ate Udders and talked and laughed and poked fun at one another. :D
Just that I caught a flu bug at that moment and I was like freezing cold. HAHA.

On monday, we went vivo to watch Plant 51.
And there was like 17 people altogether watching in the cinema and throwing popcorn at each other and laughing our heads off at the silly parts. Elsie, as usual, was really loud. hehe :D
After that we went to the rooftop and played some silly games and celebrated the birthday of a guy called Wei Cong.
Little eunice was with us and they tried triple carry. so funny!

so really have to thank God that I've found friends in so many people and I really enjoyed the holidays,
even though we may not be around for Christmas. :/

got back from the states two days ago.. touched down at an unearthly hour of 2am and totally didnt sleep a wink till like 6am. body clock's screwed eh.

anyway USA was realllyyyyyyy good. it has been magical! and i must place a huge emphasis on that. the place's actually.. pretty normal. in fact not really impressive, to me, compared to london. but although i like london better, i feel something's really amiss when im back in singapore this year. although its just sightseeing, shopping, sleeping in the bus, and more shopping, at least i "made new friends" as quoted from someone(:

probably its the laughing gas that had always been full tank and always leaked out by my sister, the company of 25 other people who were once strangers but became friends, or the dining table of 10 people who kept laughing on the last day.. maybe with the exception of a very funny man, haha. and of course, the weather, the exuberant sense of excitement in a newly rented car with an inexperienced-experienced driver: my dad. oh and most of all, my family bonded through the various squabbles over who to bathe first and the laughing marathons sparked off by my sister over trivial matters (but nevertheless it went on) (: now we cant help but always reminscince about the trip.

oh and did i mention? shannon yeo, i made a friend called shannon teo. haha.

i miss the daily routine of waking up at 6am, getting shaken awake by my mom for the first few days and concurrently waking up on my own (how unbelievable). las vegas and hollywood in LA were really awesome. the shopping was quite repetitive but bought much nonetheless. (: the luxor hotel in las vegas was pyramid-shaped, and had a lift that moved sideways haha. and on that same night when we first checked into the hotel, our tour bus broke down 2 times - the first in the middle of the road which caused major traffic jams and created a huge commotion, and the second in the middle of a railway but thank God we sloped backwards. 

anyhow, this trip had been one of the very best<3

anyway, its back to reality now. the 2 projects and work): at least christmas and new year's coming, together with the various gatherings thats coming my way.. at least thats something i can look forward to! oh and of course a new chatting buddy to chat with , too.(haha)

Away from 20 to 28th to China. Then judo camp on 28th to 30th. Life rocks whoo. Chinese : w x w w k y w j AM ^^ and have fun.

Did I mention KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES IS AWESOME AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR THEIR NEW ALBUM?

And did I also mention I am going to Malaysia where I will train at high altitudes to increase my red blood cell count so that when I get back to Singapore for training camp I will not die (I am not serious I will probably do the opposite and eat so much but I will go running though, the clean air on Cameron Highlands is too good to waste just doing nothing). I have absolutely no idea what Christmas presents I'm making for Mandy Jolyn and Wanyu.

I'm finally back after 2 camps that stretched from the 9th dec to the 12th dec. And both camps really made my week! :D

For guides camp, I felt that it drawed my batchmates closer, especially when some of us broke down from the pressure during planning and the juniors' stuff. But it was all worth it to me. It got us so much more bonded.
Water games was a blast! But I played till my thighs got marks. heh. and I think I even suffered blue black.
SHOUTOUTS to Mrs Ang:
She was such a wonderful camp commandant. Really thank her for being so understanding and granting us time to rest after an entire day of planning and handling our juniors. Craft was fun, we did paper quilling, and I made some cards to be given out during sunday.
I learnt alot after planning campfire, the campfire torch was quite easy to build after Mrs Ang kindly taught us how.
Hopefully our guides can plan some massive campfire and invite schools to join us! :D That will be simply wonderful!!!
we can even build a giant structure and our catapults and bomb laucher.
SHOUNTOUTS to PINE:
Pine, you are such a fun-loving patrol. Especially with the 4 TandT. haha :D Even though sometimes you guys are a little slow to move and laugh and joke at the wrong time, I think you guys did a wonderful job of putting your best into all activities and enjoying yourselves during night treasure hunt and wide game. I hope that you guys will be better leaders and LOVE guides even more.

For Cross-I,
the praise and worship time was really moving. Although we may not know the songs well, I just felt compel to sing along. Could really feel God's presence among us then. :D Hope that one day QLC can achieve the same fabulous worship.
My first experience dragon boating was really superbly fun. The instructor was very understanding and encouraging. even though we didn't win the mini race with the other boats, we still enjoyed ourselves tremendously, splashing water into one another's boat. HAHA (:
Happy times I will never forget. The games at botanic gardens was quite fun too, except the vegetable oil that they painted on my face. When I washed it off, my eyes were like BLACK. like little pandas. hehe!
Our SPECIAL NIGHT was fantastic, I love GIDEON (my group!!!). Our performance really ROCKED THE HOUSE, and eveyrone laughed till their stomachs hurt. hehe (: Really thank God that our group was willing to rehearse so many times and improve at each time!

Thanks you guys for making this camp so fun. There were a few heart-to-heart times when we talked about our calling and praying for one another. But mostly we had fun during special night. I hope that you guys will continue to GROW in the Lord and use your calling to the bestest of abilities. :D Take care.

bought more beanies and scarves for Korea (Y)(Y)(Y) we were supposed to read at Vivo rooftop place but my sis forgot to bring her book along so we didn't get to read in the end -_- i love Vivo's skypark it's so cooling/ relaxing even though it was crowded with muds and meenahs and blangahs zzzz. HAHA not that i'm racist or anything..
we went to see the doggies in the pet shop there they are soooo cute omgahhhh ~_~ someone was buying a dog so jealous :'( i wanttttttt argh.
